A simple looking hardshell teardrop design, with hand screen printed Ultrasuede™ lining. Contructed from multiple weaves of carbon fiber, Kevlar, West epoxy, Corecell core foam and finished in AWLbrite's, 3 component, urethane.
Six years in development, countless prototypes, and finally two completed. The pure black carbon is a fully functional "proof of concept" model, the carbon/Kevlar is as good as I am ever going to get them.
About twenty individual pieces are formed, hand cut, polished, coated and assembled. A couple of hundred hours of labour goes into each bag, so if I were to sell any they would be at least $4,000 per handbag. That said I'm not sure I want to make any more.
